Dr. Leonardo Monzon is a Consultant Interventional Radiologist with a keen interest in vascular procedures. Having studied at Imperial College School of Medicine and completing basic surgical training; he then went on to lecturing anatomy at Oxford University and Magdalen College, before completing Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology training at Imperial College Healthcare.
For over a decade, Dr. Leo has been treating patients with complex venous disease as a consultant at Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust (a national referral centre for complex venous disease). Outside of this Dr. Leo also has a specialist interest in paediatric interventional radiology where he works as a consultant at Evelina London Children’s Hospital and The Portland Hospital (HCA).
Dr. Leo has a keen interest in minimally invasive venous techniques and passionately believes that The Whiteley Protocol® offers the very best possible care for patients with venous disease.
Dr Leo always receives excellent feedback from patients and is a member of the CoP Venous Registry; member of the Royal College of Surgeons, fellow of the Royal College of Radiologists, member of the British Society of Interventional Radiology and member of the Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiology Society of Europe.
