Miss Sophie Strong is a Consultant Gynaecologist and pelvic pain specialist. She is the lead Consultant Gynaecologist at The Pelvic Pain Clinic at The Whiteley Clinic and is a member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RCOG). Miss Strong has an extensive research background with her first international oral presentation at 19-years-old. She has since dedicated her career to treating pelvic pain and is a specialist advanced laparoscopic surgeon treating endometriosis, adenomyosis and fibroids. Miss Strong has won 5-prizes at international conferences for her research in Pelvic Congestion Syndrome (PCS) and other pelvic pain conditions. She was awarded the silver-prize for her research on PCS at the British Society of Gynaecological Endoscopists’ (BSGE) Annual Scientific Meeting. Her research presenting the excellent outcomes from Pelvic Vein Embolisation (PVE) treating PCS at The Whiteley Clinic is published in the journal of Vascular and Endovascular Surgery. Miss Strong was awarded a distinction for her GESEA Level 2 Examination, Masters in Endoscopy from Naples, Italy. Miss Strong is committed to delivering individualised and compassionate gynaecological care to patients. She feels passionately about female-health rights and strives to ensure that all patients feel that they are listened to, receive information in a way that allows them to make informed choices for what is right for their body and are treated with respect.
