Mark Whiteley, founder of The Whiteley Clinic was born in Bristol and moved to Bath aged 7. He played rugby in Bath as a schoolboy and played for Bath "19 group" on a couple of occasions in 1980. He also played on the Rec (Bath's home ground)  against the Romanian Schoolboy Champion side, Grivita Rosie the same year. Mark remains passionate about rugby and sponsored Guildford Rugby Club for 10 years. During that time they were promoted twice.
