EVLT International Training Centre for laser treatment of Varicose Veins
For the last 3 days, Prof Mark Whiteley has been running the International EVLT Training Centre, teaching doctors and surgeons from around Europe how to perform Endovenous Laser Ablation of Varicose Veins and, for those who already do this procedure, how to improve their results.
The course includes theory mainly based upon "Understanding Venous Reflux - The Cause of Varicose Veins and Venous Leg Ulcers" and research findings from The Whiteley Clinic.
Delegates can practice on plastic legs with real time ultrasound and EVLT devices from Angiodynamics (Never Touch Direct).
A day of operations were performed live with Professor Mark Whiteley talking thorough each case and answering questions live from any of the delegates.
