Laser Sweat Ablation (LSA) for excessive under-arm sweating (axillary hyperhidrosis) on TV by Prof Mark Whiteley

In 2009, Professor Mark Whiteley developed an operation called Laser Sweat Ablation (LSA) for excessive under-arm sweating (click here for more information). He performed the first LSA for Under-Arm Sweating on 5th March 2009 getting into the national newspapers for his development (Click here for the first newspaper report on LSA). Professor Whiteley has continued to develop the LSA procedure and has patented the Whiteley Laser Sweat Ablation cannula. If this instrument is not used, then it is not real LSA. In this excellent program on The Learning Channel (TLC) Sam is followed through his expereince of having the Laser Sweat Ablation procedure. Professor Mark Whiteley is seen performing the operation under local anaesthetic at The Whiteley Clinic in Guildford. However LSA is also available at The Whiteley Clinic in London. The program is to be broadcast on The Learning Channel starting on 28th August 2014 where you can follow Sam through his journey to be cured of his excessive under-arm sweating.
