At The Whiteley Clinic, your vein health is our top priority. Unlike "cut-price" varicose vein clinics or private hospitals, we have a dedicated team of specialist Venous Consultants and Sonographers who thoroughly examine all your veins to establish the cause of your venous condition and recommend a personalised treatment plan - based on our extensive prize-winning and peer reviewed published research.
NICE clinical guidelines CG 168 state that varicose veins patients should be seen by a clinical team who can perform all of the treatments. You will find cut-price clinics have doctors doing their own scans, and their clinics not able to offer the whole range of treatments on site.
All patients require a consultation with one of our experienced Venous Consultants to discuss their symptoms. Our specialist Sonographers will then perform a comprehensive scan of your venous systems and from this the surgeon will prepare your personalised treatment plan. Book Your Consultation and Treatment Plan.
A Venous Consultant will meet you to discuss your symptoms and medical history.
Our specialist Sonographers will perform a comprehensive scan of both deep and superficial venous systems, which takes approximately 1 hour to complete. We will then have a map of your veins and possible causes of your venous condition.
Our Venous Consultants will review the scan results and discuss with you the cause of your venous condition and the treatment options. Once agreed with you, your personalised treatment plan will be prepared and a quote will be provided.
Every patient is different and our prices quoted are based upon individual requirements. Here are some examples of our Treatment prices.

At The Whiteley Clinic, we are proud that every patient gets assessed by a team of an expert consultant trained in The Whiteley Protocol, and has a scan performed by a Whiteley Clinic accredited vascular technologist. All of our treatments, including pelvic vein embolisation, are performed in our own facilities by our own staff.
All of our patients are invited to review us on Trustpilot and Doctify (London, Guildford and Bristol). However, patient review websites only look at the short term. The only way to prove success in the long term is to be part of a Venous Registry.
The Whiteley Clinic helped to set up The College of Phlebology Venous Registry and all of our consultants are signed up to use it. In this way, the public, insurance companies and any regulatory bodies will be able to see our long-term results.
When choosing your specialist to treat your vein problem, we believe that you cannot get better long-term results than our research based Whiteley Protocol, back to patient reviews and results recorded in the College of Phlebology Venous Registry. If you do decide to go “cheap”, we will always be happy to see you in the future when your venous condition recurs. However, it is easier for us to get a good result treating patients first time round.
Following a clinical review of your scan results, your Venous Consultant will:

Your specialist Venous Consultant will follow the Clinic’s own protocol ensuring your results are the highest in the industry.
In accordance with NICE guidelines, The Whiteley Clinic ensures all patients are thoroughly examined by an expert in HD scans lasting 1 hour.
