Serah Duro, a dedicated professional in the field of public health and clinical research, embarked on a journey that reflects a commitment to advancing healthcare outcomes. Graduating with a BSc in Public Health from the University of Greenwich in 2012, Serah commenced her research career as a Research Assistant at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Trust.

In the early years of her career, Serah focused on recruiting eligible patients for clinical trials across various specialties within the NHS. Recognising the profound impact of clinical research, she pursued and successfully completed an MSc in Public Health Practice from Surrey University in 2016. This educational milestone further fuelled her passion for contributing to the advancement of healthcare.

With a solid foundation in public health, Serah spent two years as a Clinical Research Practitioner in the NHS and seized the opportunity to undergo the NIHR research scheme, earning the distinction of a registered research practitioner. Eager to broaden her horizons, Serah transitioned to a pharmaceutical organisation, gaining valuable experience and insights into clinical research.

Fuelled by a desire to make a meaningful impact in the healthcare sector, Serah returned to the NHS, specifically Imperial Health Partners, where she assumed a senior position as a Health Research Lead. In this role, Serah played a crucial role in implementing real-world evidence studies, showcasing their expertise and dedication to advancing healthcare practices.

In 2024, Serah took on a pivotal role as a Clinical Trials Manager at The Whiteley Clinic, further leveraging their extensive experience to contribute to cutting-edge research initiatives. With a proven track record and a wealth of knowledge in the realm of clinical research, Serah continues to make significant strides in shaping the future of clinical research.
