Research to be published in the Journal of Vascular Surgery; Venous and Lymphatic Disorders shows that more than 1 in 4 women with recurrent varicose veins in the legs, have a major problem with pelvic varicose veins that has previously been missed.

Despite over a decade of research into this area from The Whiteley Clinic, most varicose vein surgeons and clinics still do not check for pelvic varicose veins.

As such, this research suggests that over 1 in 4 women undergoing varicose vein procedures are having incomplete treatment and are much more likely to get the varicose veins back again after intervention.
